One of several prewar buildings constructed in the area, 10 Park was originally a hotel. The handsome building offers 268 apartments, a grand lobby, a roof deck, and great views from the upper floors. It is near the Empire State Building and Grand Central Station.
Robert Lyons
Known for his utilitarian mindset, Robert Lyons was one of the first in his generation of architects to pioneer the concept of the "super apartments," known for their formal exteriors and emphasis on neoclassical styles. Though Lyons has designed dozens of iconic buildings across New York City, including the "St. Urban" on Central Park West and 89th, the architect himself remains out of the spotlight, choosing to focus his efforts on his ever expanding legacy of luxury apartments, clubs and hotels.
